Dave contacted us from New Zealand where he now lives. He played for Sittingbourne in the Kent League and the Southern League in the sixties. He emigrated to New Zealand in 1975. Since then, Dave has played 35 times for New Zealand and was in their 1982 world cup squad in Spain. | ||

Jon signed
for us aged 19 years following the demise of Dartford. He made his
Sittingbourne debut in the FA Cup tie versus Fareham Town Season 1992/93.
He started his career at North Ham United as a trainee. He was a regular
during the 92/93 season and played an important part in the match when
Sittingbourne won the Southern League Southern Division title at Poole. Jon is regarded as one of the best attacking full backs who have ever played for Sittingbourne. Jon is now the operations manager of a mobile phone company. Thanks to Grant Wilbur for supplying the info. |

Signed for
Sittingbourne by Tony Oakley in 1974at the age of 17. Played for Sittingbourne for about 3 years then moved to Whitstable with Chris Weller. Peter Laraman then signed him back in 1980 to play as a striker alongside Peter's son Carl. Steve played on and off for the club over a 20 year period and says that he had some great times there. He was in the side that went unbeaten all season under Hughie Stintson and Andy Woolfe. (With thanks to Steve) |
